per the NY Post:

The pressure is off the Minnesota Golden Gophers, who needed a big win this week to beef up their NCAA résumé. Minnesota, a 5 ¹/₂-point home underdog, upended Purdue, 73-69, to deny the 11th-ranked Boilermakers a shot at an outright Big Ten title.

Richard Pitino promised his team a win would mean a trip to the NCAA Tournament. Amir Coffey scored 32 points and Jordan Murphy recorded a double-double (13 points, 14 rebounds). That’s the good news for the Gophers. The bad news is they are 2-7 on the road in the Big Ten, and Maryland is hungry after back-to-back losses to Penn State and Michigan.

The team playing with the greater sense of urgency will be the team with a strong home-court advantage, so look to play the Terrapins.

The play: Maryland, -7.
