No Mo in Spring Game

Just read that Mo won’t play in the Spring game because of fasting for Ramadan. Not like he needs the practice; probably would have seen only a few reps anyway. This means we’ll get a good look at four other running backs, at least. Probably Potts, Wiley, Bryce Williams and Ky Thomas? Maybe more. Wonder about Williamson. Love the quality depth we have at the RB position.

Will be fun to see some of the other guys and maybe start to get a sense for how they stack up behind Mo on the depth chart. Really hope KY Thomas gets some carries. His high school highlights were electric, will be interesting to see how much of that transfers over to the college game.

Williamson is a hard luck kid with his torn ACL(?). Everybody heals differently ala Rodney Smith. I hope that he keep his head up and fight hard because he was an electrifying player in HS.

We have quality competition and depth at RB.

I think Ky Thomas is still recovering from injury that kept him out last year. I think it'll be Potts, Wiley, Williams, Jellen, and Moore.

Williamson never caught a break. So many unlucky injuries.
