NIL Collectives in B10

What pops out to me is Indiana’s collective at $13.6 Million.

Methodology

To present the data on estimated funding available from NIL Collectives we rely on data from multiple sources as well as certain assumptions regarding the data. Unlike public Universities, virtually all NIL Collectives are privately controlled and have no obligation to publicly report information such as their annual fundraising or how funds are spent. Additionally, most NIL collectives are very protective of their funding.

Accordingly, our estimates are not what specific collectives receive in contributions. Instead, we are providing what we believe to be a reasonable estimate of funding a collective(s) supporting the school might be expected to generate in funding, given the school’s historic level of support from boosters.

lol! In other words, complete BS.

As in “real life” the largest benefactors may well be the principals, or maybe some contributors. Opaque financials, distributions, investments. Humans have proven to be very interesting.

Some day we’ll look back at this phase of sports history and laugh.

Synthetic data being presented as something legit. Got it.

It would be more believable if it was calculated down to the penny. :)

I'd give them more credit if they simply stated they pulled it out of their asses.

Those NIL numbers are garbage. It looks like the estimate took the sum of the ticket sales and contributions (who knows if that data is correct) and multiplied by 16.44% for every school. What a fraud.
