Nice work by Posnanski...one of the better baseball writers out there, imho.

As for this argument, I was anti-playoff before reading this, and it hasn't really changed the way I think about the issue (though I didn't know about the problems with selling tickets to early playoff games, and now that he brings it up it DOES seem like it would be a sizeable issue).
 

The holes in his logic are amazingly huge. The questions he poses are good, but the fact that he can't answer them on his own bothers me. Me thinks it's a set up for the readers to make his arguments for him, wouldn't doubt there is a follow up.
