If you're watching...we have to play this guy three years in a row. Iowa and Wisconsin better get psychologically ready to finish behind the Huskers next year...and the year after...and, etc. Pelini has put together an awesome team, offense and defense.
 

That D is solid.

And Martinez is unbelievable. He's not quite as good as Denard Robinson but he is the same kind of player. Not comforting.
 

Thank God Maturi didn't think Bo Pelini was worthy of coaching the Gophers, that would suck if he was our coach right now...
 

How about Carl Pelini as our head coach next year?

Didn't you know that Maturi was betting at evaluating coaching talent than Tom Osborne.

Ah no. He can flat out coach and recruits want to play for him. I would bet the gophers would likely be top 25 now if they had hired him instead of Brewster.

Its probably time to think about getting over it.
 



I couldn't help but think while watching some of the Nebraska game last night that the traditionally porous Gopher defense will face both Robinson and Martinez next season. Ouch!

Too late for that. I think he's been the poster child for Viagra ("if it lasts longer than four hours, contact your doctor") since Nebraska joined the Big Ten. He'll be nothing less than giddy when posting here if Nebraska beats the Gophers next year.

Martinez was a 3-star athlete from California. He's not big, but with wheels like that it doesn't matter.
