Georgia has had 11 players arrested this season.

Which seems to be one of the driving issues behind people there wanting him gone.

Perhaps Georgia will waive their buyout since it could be a mutual parting. That way if they decided to fire him next year, they would have to pay out his contract. It sounds like a possibility. I would be excited if this happens , however I won't hold my breath. He would be a big time land as far as I am concerned.

I think this is a very real possibility. UGA doesn't want to fire Richt and be on the hook for his contract but they won't mind he if walks either.

There is no such thing as a mutual firing with an $8 Million dollar buyout of a coach with a 94-32 record.

I want Richt here if its a possibility, but to suggest that he'd walk away from $8 Million that he is owed is pretty ridiculous.
