Well that was a waste of time. People asking questions about MN, like who will play Weber or Grey, and the guy is like well..I don't know, Weber's been real bad, but Grey isn't much better, so I bet you will see both of them, and you might even see Grey playing reciever cause he's real big.

Good god, you would think the beat guy would have a little better idea about an opponent....

Wow, that guy literally had no idea about the Gophers. Thought we played Army. Doesn't know anything about any of our players or schemes. He seemed to think this was the biggest game of our season. This guy is lazy!

It happens nearly every week. The beat writer is focused on the team they're covering. Take away a couple of stories about star players from that week's opponent and they don't really know much about them. Upper most in their mind may be how the opponent looked last time their team played them. Or past year's performance. This guy for instance still has a high opinion of Weber , though he knows of the Offense's trouble this year.

To be fair, it's pretty doubtful that they have the time or inclination to look at game film. They also have spent Saturday's watching their team play not scouting upcoming opponents. The Syracuse game may have been the last time he watched a lot of a Gopher game.

The kicker here; he picked the Gophers to win Saturday!
