The minimum criteria to receive a playoff berth should be that you have to win your conference. What makes college football so special compared to all other sports is that the regular season is so crucial. This will also make the conference championships defacto quarterfinal games.

For sure. Sure as sh!t better have the Big Ten Camp Game there quite often. What else is there? Indy, Detroit........that's it right? Please don't mention an outdoor site.

What if the Gophers were to play their last game of the year at the new stadium? Could they sell the extra 10-15 k seats to help offset other revenues or even come out ahead? Nice national exposure for a November night game? Draw some fans that would not otherwise sit outside in November? Just a thought.
