I know that some of the guys with SaveGopherFootball had sime issues with the way some legacy players were recruited/not recruited in the past. As I get a little older and now kids of former NFL players are in College, it is fun to see where these kids end up.
Yesterday Iowa got a verbal from Johnny Lowdermilk, the son of former Viking Kirk Lowdermilk. He is a 2* LB out of Ohio where Kirk player for the Buckeyes. At quick glance it looked like he wanted to be a Buckeye, but will end up a Hawkeye.
I know I would be torn if I was asked to walk-on at my dad's alma-mater and had an offer from the competition. I would probably end up at the competition for simple $ reasons.
