- Alipate really was the second best looking QB out there. Gray seems like a great kid but he seems lost as a drop back thrower. He was "aiming" the ball on short routes rather then throwing it.
- There looked to be two potential injuries, neither serious enough for a stretcher.
- A couple of accurate but late to arrive throws, had receivers absorbing solid hits.
- R.J. Bucker looked like a solid straight ahead runner.
- There wasn't a lot of enthusiasm on the field or in the stands. The most important thing was not getting anybody hurt. Nothing wrong with that.
- They were very intent on running the ball early and finally started to put it up late.
- We enjoyed ourselves but perfunctory was the word of the day.
