1,000 play playbook, yet he can't figure out that the offensive line cannot block long enough
to throw anything but a 3 step and gone pass. Messes with veteran QB's throwing motion and takes said QB out of the shot gun formation and comfort level. When has Weber had success this season, shotgun against Illinois, shotgun against MSU, shotgun, against Cal. If Fisch can't see what is right in front of his face spread sets are all they do well then he definately deserves strong consideration for Turkey of the year in the paper. Fisch is the Gophers kryptonite on offense, and has a big time swishy haircut. Cut loose this turd and move on.

How about the turd that hired him and called him a kill shot.

The person who made the "kill shot" hire is a shoe in

for the great Turkey of the Year award.

Patrick has been waiting two years for the right time deal with the TB situation. After today, and next week he will have the ammunition he was waiting for.

How about firing the turd who hired the current turd in charge

If were going to cut turds, why not cut the largest and first one in line one of them all Joel Maturi. It was his call to take a shot on this never been a head coach bull slinger, and now we're stuck with the looch. Macturi hung his hat on this one and it is epic fail after the debacles to NDSU and now SDSU. He should be the first to go. Cheap skate bean counter Joel got what he paid for. Mr no cash registers, and then blame the vendor.
Maturi should be first in line to get the boot.

Brew should be the turkey. At least Maturi hired Tubby and has the non-revs doing pretty well. Plus he got the stadium built. Granted he has committed a cardinal sin with Brews' hiring. Brew should be a recruiting coordinator some place. We should have seen this coming the first year when he couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. His only win this year was Air Force. MSU, NW, Purdue and San Diego State (thanks Rosen) all handed the game to the Gs

As much as HIW (Heart-attack In Waiting) would like to award his turkey to Brew, I have a feeling a gentleman from the b-ball team (former member?) has a lock on this thing

Fisch would have to leapfrog over Brewster to get the big award and I don't see that happening when TB is the head coach. Consider the source of the award and it's meaningless anyway. Love the new HIW nickname. Friend of mine works at the airport and he says HIW can barely get thru metal detector. Hoo hoo.

Honestly you people have no clue. Fisch had to make Weber conform to the new way of doing things, you can't hold a team back because players can't handle it. You need to switch your systems and take your lumps knowing that the future will be better because of it.

Fisch has done a decent job. He wasn't dealt a pro-style QB, so he's been trying to conform the schemes to fit Weber. You can only rewrite your playbook and teach new plays a finite times a year between game planning. Weber is just so far lost this year that nothing seems to help.

Brew is more the Turkey for trying to go to a pro-style offense with spread personnel.
