Watching the Iowa game I was quite impressed with Cartwright. Any idea if Tubby looked at him? I have to think he would have gone to Minnesota over Iowa given the conditions of the programs.
One would think Minnesota would have been a good match- back-up Nolen for a year on a good team and then run the point for a year on a good team, with the only competition from sophomore Mav- unless he thought Devoe would play the point.
He got into Iowa so his academics must be ok. Given that we signed Armelin, Maverick, and Oto quite late, one wonders if Cartwright might have been a better way to go.
