Iowa week pickems results showed noamfromm winning the weekly picks! Word on the street is that his new one barely a week old did the pickings along with his wife for him! I knew something was up when I saw the results.

Meanwhile Triple D has over taken overall honors and is sitting alone on top! McGopher and Miranda B sitting just 1 point behind, with Next year_72 and Some guy right behind those two. This week’s picks perhaps a bit more difficult so perhaps some separation after this week’s picks. Only two weeks left including this week.

Extremely important: Triple D, MirandaB, MGGopher, NextYear_72, Someguy, and swelna, please submit this weeks picks to noamfromm. Do not post your picks on the thread for public viewing. Everyone else will post as normal on the thread. You may post submitted to create activity on the thread and bring it to the top again however.

Sounds good. However the number of participants have clearly dropped off from the beginning. I'm hoping that perhaps next fall we can polish the pickems a bit to make it more fun to make sure people hang on from week to week. I know perhaps that part of the problem is that when the season plays out like it has, the interest dwindles.

Perhaps with higher numbers week after week, Gopher Hole staff perhaps may come up with something. Not sure if they are waiting to see how the season plays out for the overall champion or not for this year. I've never contacted them at all regarding a prize of some sort. Perhaps this is something noamfromm and I can chat about as we get organize for next fall mid summer.

At this point I don't think it is fair to dump on "Gopher Hole staff" for a prize at the end of this deal that wasn't part of their planning project. Kind of the principle of the thing more than anything at this point. Will see what happens however. You never know!
 

GH makes plenty of money. They can spring for a $25 giftcard to Goldy's Locker room.
