Illinois is doing everything it possibly can to avoid losing assistant coach Orlando Antigua this offseason, according to a report.

Illini assistant Orlando Antigua has been rumored to be moving on to Kentucky in the last few days, but Illinois has apparently made a counteroffer.

Antigua is interesting. He is obviously seen as a great recruiter everywhere he has been except at his only head coaching job. During his run at South Florida, he never had a player ranked in the top 150 on his teams.

In the SEC, it seems like it is only cheating when you get caught. But, then they have good washing machines down there to put a good spin cycle. Everything in the end is squeaky clean. They just need to get scapegoat or two. Problem solved.
