Even if that's only for a season or two (if at all), it's only a matter of time until the tournament gets expanded to 96. I give it 2 years max (beginning with 2025-26 season) after all or most of the realignment dust has settled. The Wild, Wild West of major college athletics is rolling down hill, and it's all about money.
