He did give us 2 5-3 Big Ten seasons in his 6 years with the Gophers. Although he hasn't had a HC job since leaving the Gophers, he has been working as an assistant for a long time, so he's a lot more experienced than he was when he took the HC job here.

Since leaving here he has had the following positions:

Tampa Bay Storm (assistant)
Wake Forest (DB)
Rutgers (DC)
Rhode Island (DB/K)
South Carolina (DB)
North Carolina (co-DC)
North Carolina (AHC/TE)
East Carolina (ST)
Columbia (DB)

He's 66, so he could come in, get the program back on it's feet and retire. In the meantime, we could bring in Cory Sauter and groom him to replace him.

I'm not very serious of course.
