I preface this by saying that I don't know Chris Halvorsen or Kendal Shell, but I do know that walk-ons bust their tails in practice every day. I also know that from the stats that neither has played in more than a month. They played 1 minute against Northwestern at home and less than a minute at Michigan State.
So Tubby, your team is getting the living crap beaten out of it by Indiana. The only questions late in the game was whether the Gophers would get to 50 points or if IU's margin of victory would be by more than 20 points. Why can't you play those guys for three or four minutes, let them get an experience they won't forget.
There were a lot of really bad things today at Williams Arena, but this rubs me the wrong way.
