Here's the 247 starter ratings for this week.

Rules:
1 - www.ourlads.com is used for the starters.
2 - This is starting 11 only on both sides. If more than 11 are listed, I try to be fair when removing. When it's obvious that a player will not be playing, I slot in the next depth player.
3 - 247 is used for the ratings (standard not the composite). If a player did not have a rating, I gave them a 75.
4 - Transfer ratings are used over original recruiting ratings. If the player just transferred the past year, I'll note from where.
5 - <<<<< indicates a starter change.
6 - < indicates a position change.

I'm fascinated with analytics, even though I can't even pretend to have any deep understanding.

It would be interesting to revisit this after the game.

As highly rated as UNC’s defense is, it yielded a lot of yardage to App State. It got 9 sacks against SC/Spencer Rattler, but no sacks against App State—whose QB threw quick, shorter passes. Interesting to see if our OL can hold off the UNC pass rush for some longer developing, deeper passes.

Thanks for doing this weekly. Interesting to see where guys were ranked out of high school and gives you a sense of how good a staff is at identifying hidden talent and developing players when you see lower rated guys starting at the power 5 level.

Thanks! Interesting stuff. Two deeps would be interesting as well...good depth shows up if injuries and in personnel package, special teams

I believe the starter listen here, British Brooks, is out at RB and Omarion Hampton will start who went for 200+ against App State

None of these guys are 5* HOWphers!

I second this…

Like Walley and Lindeberg.

Like Walley and Lindeberg.
Looking at these rankings it kind of feels like 86 and up have a decent chance of becoming a starter so to me the impressive ones are guys like Cooper and Boe along the offensive line and CRAB at WR also Baranowski and Baugh on Defense.

The two lineman are perfect examples of why landing highly rated freshman o-lineman isn't all that important. You need guys that will develop into starters even if they aren't the most impressive recruits in high school.
