Since the 1985 Independence Bowl win, the Gophers have had a bowl streak of:

3 losses in a row
3 wins in a row
7 losses in a row
6 wins in a row.

Even my underwear would consider this very streaky.

Hard to argue. Outside of this past year as a 5-7 team....I believe we were jumped three straight times.

I didn't feel like they were bad bounces. I liked a lot of things about Kill, but how conservative/foot off the gas he would get with a lead drove me up the wall.

Definitely a contributing factor, a consolation prize for being jumped is an easier win. OTOH, we usually feel Wisky unfairly jumps to a higher bid but they have the most wins in the B1G.
