Per Gophersports.com our homecoming game will be on either ESPN or ESPN2. the game will start at 11 am.

Nice. I think we'll manage to be competitive in this game, so it might be good this one is on tv.

Northwestern looks a lot better than I thought they would (granted, they haven't played a good team yet). Persa seems like he will be a good QB for them. This will be a tough game. Right now, if you look at the "also receiving votes" NU would be ranked #38 in the AP and #32 in the coaches poll. With a few losses above them, they could be on the cusp of the top-25 in next weeks polls.

So I do think this game will be a good measuring stick for the Gophers.

any school that can beat up our secondary is scary right now. Persa looks pretty damn good right now.
