“I love whenever you can bring experience off the bench and you know exactly what they are bringing,” Johnson said. “I know with Parker, if things are dull, at least you’ve got a guy who is going to bring juice, that’s going to bring an older presence and bring some grit off the bench, and you can rely off that.”

Go Gophers!!

Agree. MN is learning its identity, and Fox provides a spark off the bench. He is always hustling, looking to create baskets, cutting to open space, and is very much a ball-sharer, finisher at the rim. Every player should be characterized by one sentence.
--Hawkins has learned to facilitate instead of score, is taking care of the ball and playing more physical defense.
--Payne has used his width and footwork exceptionally well, while finishing near the rim on both ends.
--Garcia has developed into very much a two way player with a high up side, and skills for the next level showing on both ends of the floor.
--Christie passes the eye test as a freshman who plays like a sophomore secondary ball handler who can spot up shoot.
--Mitchell is another spot up shooter who is learning to avoid dribbling into trouble at this level, a terrific spark plug with Fox.
--Carrington has become the go to guy defending opponents best scoring guard, and while his physical effort hurt affected shooting he hasn't developed Kalscheuritis.
--Josh Ola-Joseph-Murphy has embraced his slashing junkyard dog mentality on the court, while improving defensively, developing an extended shooting range.
--Ihnen has all the physical tools to develop into an outstanding BTN player with stretch length and outside shooting touch, but needs to confidently attack the rim offensively like Durant.

--The Minnesota Gophers are a team that shows promise on both ends of the floor, and has not had a deeper, more complete roster in years.
