Its interesting to note that 17 of 22 or 81% of the starters are upperclassmen. 12 are Seniors. Yet 17 of 22 of the second group are underclassmen with just two Sr.'s (Henderson and Lewis))

USC lists 13 of 22 starters as Jr's and older and 13 or so of 22 second team as Soph. or younger. At a glance, it appears that USC has fewer experienced players then we do.
 

It'd be interesting to compare starts and games played between the teams (# of starts/# of games played for 1st team, 2nd team). I don't have the time to do that analysis but I'd like to see if it someone does have the time :)
 

RETURNING TROJANS
In 2011, USC head coach Lane Kiffin can
call upon 13 returning starters (6 on offense
and 7 on defense, but no specialists). Some
72 squadmen are back from last year, but
only 38 saw action in 2010 (all but 1 of the
38 were letter winners and 26 were on USC’s
season-ending 2-deep). Alarmingly, 70
players on USC’s 112-man roster have
never taken a snap at Troy and only 14

USC's front seven is all 4th and 5th year guys. That is a huge advantage for them.
