Warmath!

I was able to meet with Coach Warmath years ago at a Gopher pre-game luncheon. Broadcaster Ray Scott as well. Both very classy guys!!

Does anyone know where Warmath coached before coming to Minnesota?

Thanks in advance!

offensive line coach at Tennessee 1935-1948 (I think?) (under Bob Neyland)
offensive line coach at Army (under Red Blaik) 1949-1951
head coach at Mississippi St. 1952-53

I realize it was a long, long time ago, but is there anyone still around who went to a game at Northrop Field or was at the opener of Memorial Stadium?
