i thought the U of M was the only team on the planet who hadn't been able to score offensive touchdowns in the last couple games?! well, now i am just confused. that is all.

Well, Georgia did lose two first round talents in Moreno and Stafford in one go. That's a lot for an offense to recover from.

Eric Berry is as good as Greg McElroy is bad.

Yeah but McElroy is still there for the other 8. Once they got out of the OOC schedule and started hitting semi legit teams he's been putrid.

Bronko,

Not sure where you're looking, but Georgia had four offensive TDs last week against Vandy, zero the week before that and two the week before that. That's 6 over 12 quarters.

The Alabama number is right.

The difference? They've won games. Also, Alabama is 11th nationally in rushing offense, 34th in total offense and 26th in scoring offense. Their pass offense isn't any good and probably is a concern. But when you have the No. 2 rush and No. 4 total defense in teh country, that covers up some issues.

Gophers numbers in case you are wondering 105th in rush offense, 89th in pass offense, 112th in total offense and 101st in scoring offense. There are exactly two BCS conference schools that are lower than the Gophers in total offense: North Carolina and Virginia.

Total defense is 95th and scoring defense is 70th for Gophers.
