I am confused by the total number of seats being sold. Based on other posts I have read the ticket total seems too low. Does anyone know what is missing in this calculation?

29,500 season ticket holders
10,000 students
3,000 visitors
1,500 AD
1,500 club seats
2,800 approximate seats remaining to be sold
------
48,300 total

Try this:

Student Seats-----------10,000
Visitor Seats---------------3,000
Other Bench Seats----22,180
Preferred Seats---------12,419
Premium Seats-----------2,659

Total Seats---------------50,258

The Premium Seats can be subdivided as follows:

Outdoor Club Seats--------1,198
Indoor Club Seats--------------250
Loge Boxes and Suites---1,211

Total Premium Seats----2,659

Here is an additional breakdown:

Lower Bowl-------22,580
Upper Bowl-------25,019
Premium------------2,659

Total Seats------50,258

Apparently there are 50 Loge Boxes that can accommodate 4 to 6 people, and 37 Suites that can hold 16 to 19 people.

*No inside information - these are estimates based on information I have seen about Gopher Stadium.

On the Alumni Association's page I found the following::

39 suites (not sure how many "seats" this equals);
750 loge seats (in 59 loge boxes);
300 indoor club seats;
1,250 outdoor club seats.

Plus, the following:
a seating area for the band (350 +/- seats);
Plus the regular chairbacks and bench seating (numbers?).

Hopefully we can piece together the total from each source.

Go Gophers!

It appears you were missing the Loge and Suite seats as well as the Indoor Club seats. That leaves you about 500 short. I thought I read somewhere that the AD had 2000. So you could be 500 short there.

OK. That seems to get the numbers close. Thanks.
