Does anyone know why the Gophers really didn't do any full court zone pressing for any significant amount of time during their 3 loss run? I kept waiting for it, especially when they were losing or in the close games at the end, yet they continued to not use it, even with the addition of athleticism in the form of Rodney Williams to the team. What were the reasons behind this - anyone have any idea?
The Gophers seem to play their best basketball when they are using their athleticism, harrassing teams with the press. They seem to do poor in half court sets. I would like to see press more often - it's this team's style, especially with DJ, RodW, and Carter on the court.
