I love what he's done with the offense at my alma mater, but going from NSIC to B1G is just a tad bit too big of a jump to make on the head coaching ladder. I could see him come in as an assistant, but definitely not as head coach right now.

I wanted Mike before we hired Kill but I knew the U wouldn't go for him after his issues in Texas. Now, not so much, the pirate doesn't seem that appealing anymore. Although he is always fun to listen to.

I did too. I still think the guy can coach. If you think Minnesota is a tough place to recruit to, Wazzu is much worse. Possibly the worst location in any P5 conference to be honest. If not for their history in the Pac-8-10-12, they'd basically be their neighbor a few miles away in U of Idaho, which is arguably the worst overall program and location in the FBS.
