Former Gophers Receive All Conference Honors

Congrats to these former gophers for continuing to succeed as their basketball careers brought them to other schools.

Royce White - 1st team Big12
Devoe Joseph - 1st team Pac12
Justin Cobbs - Honorable mention Pac12.

While it would have been great to see these players work out here, I think it was clear that they each (minus maybe Devoe) needed a change of scenery to be successful. For those who say Tubby can't recruit, I could argue that he has brought in some very good players and things just haven't panned out as expected.

I don't consider RW ever to be a Gopher. We suffered through his immaturity and isu benefited from his skills. I never thought JC to be nothing but an average player especially with his shooting skills. DJ is still a puzzle.
