Final “what if” Rankings


Nebraska has locked up the title of best terrible team like 6 years running now
 


These are reasonable to think about for “not as bad/good as their record would indicate”.
 

you can "yes, but" until your head falls off.

that is just the nature of sports. you will win some close games and you will lose some close games. But well-coached teams IMHO will find ways to win more of the close games, while other teams seem to find ways to lose more of the close games.

sometimes it is as simple as your best players making one more play than the other guys.

in the end, teams win games for a reason and teams lose games for a reason.

and it's the fans of the teams who lose games who tend to spend more time on social media complaining about "bad luck."
 



It’s not black and white, of course. And luck plays a part in every game, just dishonest to say otherwise.

I’m fine saying a team that lost four close games is a bad team.
