If one were to to put together a Field of 68 based strictly on the current NET rankings, this is how it would look. Automatic qualifiers from multiple-bid conferences are noted with an *.
There are some notable exclusions, and one could argue rightfully so, #63 Florida, #74 Kentucky, and #98 North Carolina chief among them. The Gophers, with their rock solid non-conference schedule + a win over #3 Ohio State, are among the "first 8 out".
