Did we lose a commitment ??

Additionally, Iowa is not exactly known as a WR-centered offense. More like run dominated with short passes to the TE and RBs. If you are a TE I can possibly see the pull to Iowa but definitely not WR.

Iowa's top two receivers had 18 TDs between them last year, most in the league.

You all get way to wrapped up in the life and times of high schoolers.

I like recruiting as much as the next guy, but I agree with you here. This is a difficult decision for anyone, much less a 16- or 17-year old kid.

As for a prospective professional football career, that will sort itself out for McDonald and every other player entering college in the fall of 2012 over the next four or five years. Football is obviously one of the major considerations entering into McDonald's thought process, but academics and college atmosphere at each place should also be on the list.

I hope McDonald makes the right decision for him and I hope that decision is brings him to the University of Minnesota.
