Too bad for him. I would guess that the Gophers having a special teams & defensive player of the week already hurt him.

Mike Kafka had a great game, but he also threw the costly INT in a tie game with less than 2 minutes left that cost Northwestern the game.

Carlos Brown also had a great game with 13 carries for 187 yards, but come on, it was against Eastern Michigan. They are now 0-3 (with losses to Northwestern and Army) and came into the Michigan game with about the 115th ranked rushing defense in the nation.
