Obviously the Rick Pitino news is dominating the sports headlines, but I'd rather direct your attention towards IUPUI's Ron Hunter. Hunter's become my second favorite NCAA basketball coach and I have no idea what he looks like or how good his teams are:

If there's a team in the Big 10 I'm pulling for this season (besides the Gophers), it's Northwestern. It would be a great story if they could break their March Madness virginity, and with Coble as a senior, it seems like a wonderful chance to do so:

Finally, anyone who has read my comments on this board over the last few years knows of my admiration for the Pitt basketball program. They got a nice bonus to their roster yesterday, I've never heard of this type of transfer situation before (obviously it's extremely rare). It'll be interesting to see how much of a factor Adams is for the Panthers this season:
