Shoot, Weakling Wednesday looks, unfortunately, a little strong. That Maryland team played pretty well @ Purdue yesterday.
Could be a year where a lower seed ends up getting hot and winning the Big Ten Tournament. There are a number of really good teams in the Big Ten but they have all been prone to slip ups and none look dominant.

It’s just hard for a team playing Wednesday to win 5 straight conference games when they may not have 5 conference wins. Maybe a team like Ohio state or Michigan can do it this year.

Michigan at a 7 seed with lots of room to go down.
Brutal end to the season. @ Iowa, @ wisco, Rutgers 🔥, Illinois, MSU, Iowa, @ tOSU

Agree that the winner is unlikely to come from the Wednesday crowd. But could see a team from that 5-10 group having a good shot of winning this year with none of the 1-4 teams looking unbeatable and everyone having off nights.

Maryland would be a bad match up for us.
Would love to get another shot at Nebraska. Can we (Gophers) find a way to get to the #11 seed?

For tiebreaker purposes must win @ Maryland & win at least 2 of Northwestern/@Penn State/@ Northwestern. And that still might not be enough. Might need to get to 7 conference wins (upset Hoosiers and/or Badgers)?

I'm predicting 6-14 record going into the tournament. Hopefully, that will be enough to get Nebraska for game 1!

I agree,very average group !!!!

You know you're a basketball fan when your mind is devising ways to go from a 12 seed to somehow an 11 for Weakling Wednesday to get some pay back.
Make it a serious grudge match against those Huskers, let's put the Broken Bit's Chair on the line. Who cares about some lousy Dance, the Chair's what we want (anyone know where the Chair's actually at these days - is it banished to someone's closet???).
