Not blaming it on Weber, but it looks like a lost season, is there any chance Gray gets to play QB as they look towards next year, or you people feel Brew would have to leave before Gray gets a shot this year?

Let's hope so. We're not winning any more games (unless we upset Purdue), so we might as well start building for next year. Weber can help Gray learn the position from the sidelines. That would be best for next year's team, but there is no way Punky will do so. So don't expect it to happen.

Depends on whether Brewster gets the heave ho. If Horton or Cosgrove get to wear the whistle as interim coach, what do they have to lose by putting in Gray. If Gray can be half the QB as Denard Robinson, maybe the interim guy gets a shot at the job (not saying that's a good thing). FWIW, Maturi might even dictate auditioning Gray. If this team shows that we have someone with potential at QB for next year it makes this coaching position more attractive for potential high profile candidates. Weber certainly isn't going to do that. Not even if he had another year of eligibility.

Can gray play defense. That is the next question. Pathetic!!

most of us have been asking that very question since the first game of last season. How much worse could he be than adam, really? now that rome has burned to the ground, is it time?
