Personally I think it will be closer...mainly because I think Mo's success will lead to a decent passing game. Any pressure on the freshman QB would be a huge plus for this one.

The Gophers DO have a chance. Their offensive line will have to control the line of scrimmage and the Gophers will have to keep the ball out of their hands. Tanner Morgan will need to make some good reads to keep their defense from keying on Ibrahim. He will need to hit some slants and complete some passes downfield because they will try to cheat to stop the run. They will not be able to lose the turnover battle or they are toast. On defense, they will have to watch out for a very good running QB who will try to take off for some gains and they can't let him get comfortable or they will get lit up. OSU is very skilled across the board and they most likely will be the most talented team we will play all season. It won't be easy - it will take an effort equal or greater than the Auburn game a couple years ago and we will probably need a break or two. But there IS a chance!!

I don't see how Slowhio State scores more than zero. But maybe the 3rd string Minnesota defense give up a score and a half with 10 minutes left. 63-11 Gophs.
