Brian Bennett: The biggest thing Minnesota can do is get healthy. The first two games against TCU and Colorado State delivered a beating to the Golden Gophers, particularly on the offensive line. They are scrambling a bit up front right now, and that has contributed to struggles in the running game, which is going to be this team's bread and butter. Mitch Leidner isn't going to morph into Peyton Manning, so Minnesota has to go with what it has. And that's outstanding defense, great special teams and hopefully a return to a punishing ground game if the offensive line can recover.
