Northwestern won all their away games.
Purdue won 2 of 3 away games.
Wisconsin has a 4-1 record at home.
Wisconsin and Purdue offense scored the most points.
Illinois and Minnesota gave up the most points.
Minnesota is 4-1 at home, but will be tested by two good road teams.
It is looking like Northwestern to be the Big Ten West Champion. They are on a four-game winning streak.
Minnesota has a greater likelihood of a 4-8 to 5-7 finish unless they upset one or two of the last three teams they face.
The Indiana game proved that if the Gophers have a credible running attack that it can open up the passing game. Let's hope Ibrahim can be back in the lineup. It is not looking so good for Shannon Brooks as far as playing in the next couple of games. Bateman is starting to make noise in a big way. Tanner Morgan may be the QB the rest of the season with his long bomb ability better and his running threat.
For Minnesota to upset - 1. Defense have to improve drastically; 2. A healthy WR Corps and Bateman, Autman, Douglas, and others need to bring their A game. Need for TJ to get back healthy; 3. We need a couple of healthy running backs. Preferrably if Brooks can be back for the last two games.
Anything can happen barring injuries.
