Thanks for posting this.

How do you go 7-11 with two players like Ferrell and Vonleh?

Mathieu deserves honors over Dre imo.

Just figured out this is BTN.com and not All Big ten (should have read the thread title). Pretty confident coaches will have Little Dre

Didn't a BTN guy last night say he had Mathieu on his first team as of a few weeks ago? I'd be surprised if he's not on at least the 3rd team. He deserves it.

Mathieu definitely deserves 2nd team, Andre possibly 3rd.

Agreed. Mid season struggles aside, I'd even put Austin ahead of Andre.

No way. You need more than 2 good games to get honors. If you are going by that standard EE should be All-Conference for his early performance before falling off a cliff.

Take Austin off the floor for 3 games and see what happens. He won't be easy to replace next year.

I'm a bit surprised that someone who is deserving of the Defensive POY award is not good enough to make even the third team.

They both need to be on the floor. It would have been just as ugly had Austin sprained his ankle.

Yep, we'll miss Austin a lot. Productive 4-year Big Ten players like him don't fall out of trees.

If the Gophers can get both Hollins' to play well in the BTT -- and maybe Malik becomes a threat again -- the Gophers could be a handful for a higher seed in Indy. We really, really need both Hollins to be at the top of their games.

We saw how ugly it was without Dre. I'm honestly not that worried about Austin graduating.

People have still not figured out that other teams basically did everything they could to take away Dre's three point shooting. His ankle issues made the situation worse. But no doubt he was the focus of the other teams' defenses this year. Last year teams had to sag off more onto Mbakwe and Williams.

The season may have started that way but it moved to concentrating on Mathieu and keeping him out of the lane.

As Austin goes so go the Gophers the rest of the way!

Coaches and Media All-B1G first team same as BTN.com's.

I don't know why, maybe it's because none will be potential NBA All-Stars, but that seems like a really weak 1st team.

I know Devyn Marble is pretty good, but I don't think he should be 1st team. Always seemed to force things and make dumb plays. Sure he averaged 17 ppg, but he only shot 42% and 37% from 3. Nothing extraordinary.

Second Team:
Coaches
Yogi Ferrell, IND
Caris LeVert, MICH
Adreian Payne, MSU
D.J. Newbill, PSU
Sam Dekker, WIS

Media
Yogi Ferrell, IND
Caris LeVert, MICH
Aaron Craft, OSU
Adreian Payne, MSU
D.J. Newbill, PSU

Here is the 2nd team:

When I see Aaron Craft on the the 2nd team, I toss the whole thing.

Craft is a great defender, but he is a mediocre offensive player. The coaches did not put him on either 1st or 2nd team, and I think that is fair because Craft has shied away from trying to score or make plays offensively all season long and it has hurt the team.

3rd Team
Coaches
Noah Vonleh, IND
Aaron White, IOWA
Aaron Craft, OSU
LaQuinton Ross, OSU
Tim Frazier, PSU

Media
Noah Vonleh, IND
Aaron White, IOWA
Drew Crawford, NU
Tim Frazier, PSU
