All Mountain West Honorable Menntion Karter Shaw commits!

Faalele could enter the draft this year and would be drafted at some point. Not because he has earned it, but just because of potential.
You are probably right, but has anyone even laid eyes on him in the last year? For all we know, he could be up to 500 pounds

If Faalele gets drafted primarily on potential with no recent performance profile, low draft pick. If he gets drafted on a full year of fairly dominant performance plus his high ceiling, high draft pick.

Agree on another year would greatly enhance his draft stock. After perusing through several draft sites many have him in the 3rd/4th round if he were to enter the 2021 draft.

All of these transfers may pan out but they mostly show how poorly PJ recruited the last couple of years.
He is sticking his fingers in the multiple holes in the leaking dike.

It all depends, I guess, if you define kids that "don't work out" as poor recruiting. I would say, probably some people take that view. But it can also be the case that recruiting high school players is a crap shoot. But then again, if you keep getting unlucky at a consistent level, it may well indicate that you're doing it wrong.

It’s college football, nobody is putting together a solid 2 deep every year with only high school recruits. We had four guys transfer out and five transfer in. Saying the recruiting has been super poor is a terrible take.

Not at all shocked that this is the way you would choose to look at it. Others might view the transfers as guys who can add depth and talent to the roster immediately and bolster what is already there, putting the team in an even better position to compete in 2021.

But again, not surprised one bit to see you take the negative route.

Did all the transfer QB’s that Oklahoma took the last few years illustrate how bad Lincoln Riley is at developing his own QB’s? Or LSU with Fields and Burrow with LSU?

Talent is talent. Doesn’t matter if it comes via HS, Juco or the portal. Whatever it takes to get good players and the guys we are bringing in are good. Val Martin is the only one where he is more of a reach.
