2023 Schedule out Tomorrow

I'm looking forward to seeing this new schedule!

I think it will look similar to the original 2020 schedule.

I believe 2020 originally had us playing Michigan, @Michigan State, and ?? Don't remember the 3rd crossover.
Maryland would be my guess. They played them anyway in 2020 as well as 2021.

Also we should be getting 5 conference home games next season which is great.

Home vs Eastern Michigan, Louisiana, Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State

Away at North Carolina, Purdue, Northwestern, Iowa, Maryland

Michigan State is our locked-in yearly team from the East. Used to be Maryland, did that for six years, switched to MSU.

So would assume we get them at home.

If they stick with the old model that’s true. They really can do whatever they want as it’s the last year.

It'll be at Ohio State instead of Maryland...

Damn that is a tough schedule.

Ouch - they certainly didn't do us a lot of favors on the scheduling front.

Cons
Not a fan of conference games week 1
Strange to go conference, non conf, non conf, conference, non conf
Brutal crossover games

Pros
Bye week after Michigan and before Iowa
Nice home schedule in terms of opponent quality.

Lol. brutal schedule. Couldn’t have asked for worse crossovers.

I’ll probably knock Purdue off the away day bucket list.

first reaction - the Gophers will be doing well to get to 6 wins and qualify for a bowl game.

anything over 6 wins would be a success.

But if the wheels fall off, it could turn into a 4 or 5-win season.

Fleck needs to be in the portal 24/7 the minute this season is over.
Start selling that schedule in the WR/LB/OL/DL portal
