2023-2024 College Basketball Other Games Thread

Really good game. Shame Indiana State didn't make the field for the bigger tourney, but there are quality teams left out every year.
Agree. Watched the game. Some great shooting. Connell is the real deal. Love watching Cream Abdul Jabbar, doesn’t get rattled. Much better passer and shooter than Payne. They are clearly better than our 2023/24 Gopher squad, but we played them tough. Connell couldn’t miss in that game!

...after Utah had thrashed VCU by 20. Indiana State is simply very good. They're a top 20 team. The Gophers did pretty well to hang with them with Hawkins out and Garcia in bogus foul trouble.
Pat Forde is a complete dink, but can't argue with him here

Gophers had two turncoats in the college three point shootout. Battle (lost in semis) and Scalia (won).

The Iowa-UConn women's basketball game tonight at 8:30 PM could be a record breaker. It's superstars Caitlin Clark of Iowa vs Paige Buckers of UConn (from Hopkins). A one of a kind game.

I know this is not the women's basketball message board but newsworthy.

Iowa's 71-69 victory over UConn at the women's Final Four on Friday night averaged 14.2 million viewers on ESPN, making it the most-viewed women's basketball game on record and the largest audience for an ESPN basketball broadcast.
