I think they would look good with Maroon jerseys, an old school look, especially with numbers on the sides. All white look was a little much, I'll agree there.

Well, you are just wrong! Most of the classic schools have a traditional all white with their school color as an accent. Alabama, Texas, Nebraska, Penn St, to name a few. That white beats the heck out of the black or grey they wear.

Right but most of those schools have one main color, and then an accent color. This is also why it's easier for those schools to do *color*-outs because 90% of their school apparel is the main color, us on the other hand have the privilege of have two, equally important colors. Our apparel is split 50-50. White Jerseys, with a non white bottom and helmet I can do (though some combos are better than others), non-white jerseys with white helmets and pants I can do, but all white everything just looks wrong.

My favorite combo(s) are Maroon Helmet, Maroon Jersey, Gold Pants and Gold Helmet, Maroon Jersey, and Gold pants. With a preference for the former.

White helmet doesn't do it for me. Figured I wouldn't like the Gold one either but they got it right. Classic look guy myself...Maroon, Maroon, Gold @ home...Maroon, White, Gold @ away games.
