Does anyone know where I could find a 2010-2011 Gophers Basketball tentative schedule. Any news on who we are playing? I know they don't release them in advance like they do in football, but just wondering if anyone heard anything.

Thanks :)

I believe St. Joseph's was a home-and-home, so we'll be there next year.

No 2011 schedule is available because it is nowhere near complete.

Sid had something in a recent column about Eastern Kentucky, Siena, NoDak, SoDak, and a road game at St. Joe's. There will be a likely home game vs. an ACC team and I'm guessing the rest will be teams like Hamline, Bethel, Crown College, and if we're lucky....Metro State.

I thought Minnesota won't play schools with Indian mascots besides for conference games?

We play in Puerto Rico in November...with another strong field (ala the event we played in this year).

You are indeed wrong. It does alternate. Gophers played ACC road game in 2007-08, home game in 2008-09, and road game in 2009-10.

I believe the intent is to have teams alternate home/road year over year, but it does not always work out that way. UW played at Duke two years ago, then at Virginia Tech last year. As a result, UW will get consecutive home games, Duke this season and someone else in Madison next season. I may be wrong, but I don't think this is the only example. Duke may have had back to back road games as some point.
