Fresno fans on the backboard seem to be convinced they will have a huge advantage based on the weather for this game so for the past 5 or 6 days, I've been checking the forecast for this game.
As of today, the high on Saturday will be 91 degrees with a humidity of 39% and NW wins of 15 MPH. Since the game is being played at 7:30, there has been usually been a drop of around 5-6 degrees from the high to 7:30 and 15-16 degrees by 11:00 PM when the game should end. So that means it should be 86-76 degrees for the duration of the game.
I think thats pretty good considering on Sunday the projected high was 96 which means it would have been 90-91 degrees kickoff. Having a low humidity will help reduce cramps and I would think and having 15 MPH winds should be nice as well.
Overall I'm not as concerned as I was a few days ago and Fleck has said they have been practicing in the indoor cranking the heat up in the 80's and have started working on their hydration.
