Board members can't refuse to certify results. It's considered a ministerial function.

This is all just BS and very shameful work to try to undermine democracy.

It has no chance to work, but it shows how our system was designed for people to work together and not act like partisan, authoritarian a$$holes.

Way too much of our basic government functions/transitions of power rely on norms and men/women of honor doing the right thing. Now that we've elected a dishonorable liar who desires to be a dicatator and 43% of the country worships him, we see how much of a problem this is. There are many laws that need to be updated and have penalties added to them.

For example the government official in charge of certifying the transition is clearly supposed to do so once there's an "apparent" winner, which there is. But there is no punishment indicated for her refusal to do so.
Also no law on the books against faithless electors in PA or GA.

In the end, a stolen election which causes voters from the losing party to take to the streets and burn the country to the ground will harm the elites far more than the have-nots in America because they have far more to lose. The George Floyd riots will be just a drop in the bucket by comparison.

Sadly, that would be a pretty accurate assessment. Even sadder: you disagree.
Whether he is or not is irrelevant; it's sad and pathetic that a paper that has been for decades one of the bastions of quality journalism in the country is a pathetic worthless partisan hyper-biased rag at this point in time. They stopped hiding it a few years ago even.

You can scream accurate all you want, blah, blah, blah... A paper of that circulation and that prestige (previously) should have never lowered itself to where it is now. Journalism and the news in out country is in a place that I would guess many reporters and writers of just 10-15 years ago would be shivering and rolling over in their graves. We all suffer because of it, every one of us

Yea ok, whatever.
Just because so many morons accept Trump doing things that would be unthinkable in the entire past of our country doesn't mean the journalists reporting on it are partisan shills.

The Detroit Free Press and Associated Press also reported Palmer spoke to Trump.

You forfeited any shred of credibility long ago. Nobody listens to a word of the manure you shovel out.

You're now on ignore. Not worth another moment of my time.

Ogee is a troll. He pretends he's rich, but he's a guy who lives in his parents' basement and secretly hates himself. He's a loser who should be ignored.

I agree 100% with the first sentence. I disagree 100% with the rest.
