Sometimes you have to show your hand. This would be one of those times, I think. Sure, people can lie about anything, I suppose, but in daylight the truth can be spelled out and backed up with something better than "my attorney says so".
Sure, try to explain business taxes to the American public. Great idea.

Democrats already use “Company X paid no taxes”. Never mind that it was b/c of legislation that was designed to encourage investment and expanding/contributing to the economy and employment.

Peoples‘ eyes would glaze over listening to that and they’d be totally confused. Yeah, the Democrats would love nothing more than that.

Oh, it is legal all right. He has been using his position in Congress and as Vice President for personal gain for nearly 50 years. This is why we have such a swamp in Washington DC. Politicians come there and get rich off of influence and side deals. This is why Trump is hated so badly. No one has a hold on him. That's a dangerous thing for the swamp.
Wrong NONSENSE as usual RGB -

Biden provided his information for both tax and the public disclosure forms which detail how much his income was and where it came from since he declared that he was running; something Trump has never done and obviously won't do (PLEASE Explain to the class why) -

Per his return in 2016, he only made $315K, so your BS about him enriching himself for 50 years is nutty and lies.

OF course he made more income when he left from the following sources -

Writing a book
Tour for the book
(very lucrative for someone like him who has held a unique position).
Setting up a consulting firm
Additional speaking engagements
Becoming a Prof at Penn.

Surprising that you and the titter hack couldn't figure out he'd be making more coin when he left office, since you are both "business experts', Homer!

Stop being lazy (Mr. White Privilege) and do a little bit of research - this took me 20 minutes. OR you can do the following (but stop wasting my time kiddo)-

If you haven't noticed, he's being investigated in New York for breaking tax laws, and the Joint Commission is reviewing at least one of his large tax deductions. Those are two examples of illegal or unethical behavior right there. JTF mentioned 2 others.
Being investigated by a partisan state government isn’t what I would call proof of lawbreaking. He’s been audited for decades.

No one's running the country. That's why Trump is toast.
No one runs the country period. We aren’t a dictatorship. I’m surprised to see someone as smart as you perpetuating this myth.

They wrote an article about Joe and Hunter Biden????? Please link it!!
Ken Vogel wrote about this before you even knew it was a story. KGF started the big Biden/Ukraine thread nearly 5 months after this story published.

Just like Uranium One. The NY Times breaks a story, it gets run through the fever swamp ringer, and then Conservatives complain that the MSM doesn't cover it.

But he's a real good, the most amazing tax cheat ever with the largest hands. Does that help?
The Fellas aren't at that stage yet. They're still in the "Fake News" shrieking stage. The "You're GD right he did it and thank God he did! He showed us how broken our tax system is!" stage isn't for a few more days.

FWIW - Per the Forbes article, owning real estate is only a part of his holdings. - it also appears that he is part owner of most of those he has an equity stake in versus owning them solely. For the other parts of the real estate, he licenses and or licenses and manages the properties.

Sadly there was no information regarding the humungous sales of Trump Steaks and Water
What about Trump University? That was a huge success, right?

Here is a good summary of what the NYT found:
It's a bad summary. As I posted, there are multiple illegal tax evasions. There is massive conflict of interest. There is the massive debt held by someone unknown entity.

It was obvious to me he didn't release them because he didn't pay much or any taxes, thats real estate investing, and that would look bad. Or because he didn't make hardly any money so he looks like a weak sorta wealthy guy, not the mega rich tycoon he plays. Obviously he was hiding them, only those scenarios make sense.
If his taxes showed he made millions and paid even a remotely reasonable amount of tax, he'd have released them years ago and KGF and 2 would be here crowing about how he showed everyone. Instead they're name calling and flailing away. They have nothing.

Further proof that the NYT is just one of the MSM outlets that is part of the Biden campaign:

Oldsters like you don't realize that your average GenZer on a campaign can put this together in 2 hours.

Ah, I see we've moved from "The story doesn't even claim he did anything illegal" to "You can't definitively prove he did anything illegal." Was inevitable, I suppose.

The deeper you dig, the worse it gets. The debt is out of control and due soon. The part we don't know is how much has been stolen from the people these past four years. But it does explain the motive behind the theft we've seen anecdotally, such as the piracy and sale of PPE and medical equipment from the national stockpile. It's not theft for the sake of theft but instead stealing to pay debts.
Jared called them "our" ventilators for a reason.

Not only do they pay too much tax, they are also deprived of campaign funds. Ask Lady G!
If Trump can write off $70K for his hair care products and $30K each for his porn stars, Lady G should be able to write off his rent boys. The injustice!

Read up about like kind exchanges. (comment regarded bolded statement above)

Regarding the $750...that is inaccurate. He had already paid 1 million and 4.5 million respectively for the two years pending the completion of audit.

He didn't give up his business interests, he gave up control of them.

Furthermore he has waived his Presidential salary of $400k per year....
No record of donald doing a 1031, beggar.

I'm less interested donald's non tax payments than the fact that he's broke. Clearly there is some fraud going on in his filings, but most of it is hyper aggressive and hyper creative accounting serving a guy who is in branding and real estate, two businesses that allow for those kind of accounting practices.

More importantly, the evidence strongly indicates donald is living on borrowed dollars and borrowed time. Not even his skanky Russian and "'stan" lenders are going to line up to refinance his properties that are bleeding real cash, especially when there is nothing to back up his personal guaranty.

There is a way out of all of this for him, but he has too much hubris and narcissism to take it. In exchange for resigning before the election, he has to negotiate a pardon from the US Attorney in Manhattan. He also has to negotiate a commitment for pardons from the winner of a Biden/Pence election. (The pardon should include his entire family--yes, even Don Jr.) Secondly, he has huge post presidential earning power. The donald numb nuts can't take their eyes off of him, so he should be able to negotiate huge deals with Fox or One America. Or get backing for his own network. (The pardon agreements would have to include language about no incitement.) The book and movie deals would also be huge. Finally, he would have to learn to live like a $100 millionaire and not a billionaire. Maybe netjet instead of his own plane. Maybe three houses instead of ten. Maybe Eric and Don Jr. get real jobs.

I don't think any of it happens because he's a greedy pig. That doesn't mean it shouldn't.
If he loses, he can resign early and Pence will pardon him.

That is the most important question that, so far, no one has investigated very thoroughly (at least not to public knowledge).
Vlad had lots of reasons to loan him $. And he's gotten more payoff from it then he ever dreamed, I'd imagine.

I’ve only read synopses. Any New York investigation is separate from the NYT analysis of his tax returns. The summaries I’ve read state that the NYT analysis didn’t uncover anything illegal. Feel free to correct me on that.

Lol. A decent rapid response team can have that ad out in an hour. I know you don't understand that.

LOL. Trump is claiming the story is false.

Well, that's easy to prove, Donny. Release the returns, and show the NYT is lying.

He also claims the NYT obtained information illegally. He contradicts himself.
