This thread is a treat. You lefties are complete wackos. All I hear about is what Trump “will do”. Lawsuits, military, refusing to leave office, etc. Outrage over things that haven’t happened yet you rationalize Walz who is actually doing things to achieve what Trump “will do”. Blind as a bat is an understatement.

Pages of outrage on how Trump “will corrupt COVID data” (never happened) yet it is no big deal when MN just stops reporting critical COVID data.

Pages of outrage about how Trump is committing “election fraud in broad daylight”, yet Bloomy paying folks to vote in FL is no big deal.

Sh!t, I could go on and on, but none of you care about reality. The biggest hypocrites on earth are today’s Democratic Party
Walz really has your panties in a bunch....

And they can’t even comprehend why anyone would bring up Walz in a thread about relinquishing power.

Nah. He just hasn't said that he would when asked. And him and his cronies are looking into ways to bypass election results.

Burn down democracy says JG! We'll rename America, The Gulch.
Look at what might happen in Washington!

All while Minnesota’s democracy has already crumbled.

Yup. Righties who claim to love America are nothing more than frauds when they defend this junk.

I have commented in the past, yes many mistakes made then, primarily a failure to grasp how bad it would get.
Gopher Jake wanted examples of some of Walz’s lies or issues he has created in order to keep his emergency orders in place. I was simply pointing out some examples. The most recent one with the department of health no longer sharing consultative hospitalization and ICU counts should be worrisome. 40 hospitalized with 40 being released is much less scary expect now we won’t know the cumulative number just the day admits. News departments have asked for an explanation, but have not gotten any. Like a typical politician they don’t believe in answering questions.

My kids can’t attend school every day. They are receiving a sub-standard education.
My son couldn’t play football and basketball tryouts have been postponed.
I had to cancel my trip to Hawaii.
I couldn’t take a piss at McDonald’s this morning.
I have employees that can’t come into the office when needed.
I can’t go to church without wearing a mask.
I can’t get into restaurants and bars I would typically go to without a reservation.

Should I keep going?

Your understanding of this subject matter is as weak as most of your posts; look at your anemic reaction score despite having the most posts on this board- good lord.

If you don't expose this BS to the light then it is much more likely to happen - called being proactive not reactive - try it at your day job once in a while.

Pages of outrage on how Trump “will corrupt COVID data” (never happened) yet it is no big deal when MN just stops reporting critical COVID data.
Instead he did things much more heinous and disgusting - he lied and downplayed it repeatedly

Pages of outrage about how Trump is committing “election fraud in broad daylight”, yet Bloomy paying folks to vote in FL is no big deal.

Nice lie - FLA passed an amendment allowing them to no longer be disenfranchised. Bloomberg is simply paying the fine that a court rule prohibited them from being able to vote - that's been paid. The money didn't go to the voters in question so they never received those funds nor are they bein paid to go vote - BS.

Sh!t, I could go on and on, but none of you care about reality. The biggest hypocrites on earth are today’s Democratic Party

You can always leave after the election
Sounds like you're having a bad day-

I stopped reading here. You clearly have zero clue on this subject. Let me guess - you read a headline that said “school districts get to decide”. Comical.

Walz hasn't done anything to impede the democratic process. Meanwhile....you keep bringing him up as a deflection to ignore that you are cheering on someone who is basically embracing rebellion and and end to democracy.

The republican party (as evidenced by the goons here) needs to be burnt to the ground. You guys don't even deserve to call yourselves Americans anymore.

Sad.

You should force everyone involved in those things to put themselves at risk because you say so.

This is victimhood at its funniest. God weeps for you, galt.

Galt eats at McDonald's for breakfast? That's not surprising. He self-loathes.

If he can't poop at Hardees tomorrow night, he just might blame Hillary as he strokes out.

Progs have convinced me. The lockdowns have caused no harm whatsoever.
Nah. The lockdowns have been overdone and remain so, and are the cause of this summer’s riots as much as anything.

Back to the topic, the President’s continual complaints about the election system are those of a loser. Did the Bosworth Sooner team announce on the eve of the Gopher game that they were concerned about the thevset o referees for that Saturday’s game? No, they did not.

We have no legislature in Minnesota. Only a governor with absolute power.

And you feign concern about our democratic institutions? You’ve been outed - go find the St Could St board- you might fare better over there.

Dems tried this same game 4 years ago. Will Trump accept the election results?!! Keep in mind that this was a non issue sprung out of nowhere. No one was talking about it or threatening it. And then, Dems didn’t accept the election results.
Theyre seriously trying this again? Meanwhile Hillary is urging Biden not to concede if he loses? It is an insurance policy in case Trump wins. Again. Don’t be so gullible.

Blah blah blah. Walz is handling things much like many other Governors. Just because you are a dotard who thinks covid is a hoax and that Trump was correct when he said "fourteen cases to zero"....doesn't mean that you are anywhere near correct.

Refusing to accept the results of an election? Wow. No problem there though.

Keep whining. The more you pout, the more you let your crazy nonsense fly. Funny stuff to watch the meltdown.

This touches on the key to this whole thing: not giving Trump the power he pretends he has. It's like a toddler threatening to burn the house down--they don't even know where the matches are. Trump would need a lot of help to pull this off, and what needs to be done now is make sure he doesn't get it. Get assurances from state and local officials that there's going to be a normal election regardless of the abnormal candidate.

Fascism typically involves using state power in the furtherance of business interests like violently crushing unions and forcing people to work including slave labor. As long as the business is in support of the state. The shutdown are kind of the antithesis of this, shutting down businesses to protect the people.

Here is a bit from wiki

"
Fascists opposed both international socialism and free-market capitalism, arguing that their views represented a third position.[20][21] They claimed to provide a realistic economic alternative that was neither laissez-faire capitalism nor communism.[22] They favored corporatism and class collaboration, believing that the existence of inequality and social hierarchy was beneficial (contrary to the views of socialists),[23][24] while also arguing that the state had a role in mediating relations between classes (contrary to the views of liberal capitalists).[25] An important aspect of fascist economies was economic dirigism,[26] meaning an economy where the government often subsidizes favorable companies and exerts strong directive influence over investment, as opposed to having a merely regulatory role. In general, fascist economies were based on private property and private initiative, but these were contingent upon service to the state.[27]

Fascist governments encouraged the pursuit of private profit and offered many benefits to large businesses, but they demanded in return that all economic activity should serve the national interest.[12] Historian Gaetano Salvemini argued in 1936 that fascism makes taxpayers responsible to private enterprise because "the State pays for the blunders of private enterprise. [...] Profit is private and individual. Loss is public and social".[28]"

This is why I don't even think we're dealing with classic fascism here. This is a trans-national criminal syndicate operating out of kleptocratic government regimes. In classic fascism, Trump would be championing the state. Instead he's consuming the state, literally stripping it for parts and selling it (mail sorting machines, medical PPT, etc.). It's been like a hostile takeover of an already troubled asset by a corporate raider with the intention of sucking the company dry. In fact, that model is where these people probably got the idea.

But the only way it works is to hold on to power; otherwise you get prosecuted once you're deposed. That's why they'll do anything to stay in power. Or they'll pretend they have the power to negotiate a deal where they escape justice in exchange for leaving office peacefully.

The national guard was in the city the night they let the police precinct burn down. They retreated and let it happen. A major f#ck up by walz and our leaders. There is no defense for them.
I'm not defending it. I'm pointing out the lies in From's yeahbut.

No the $7 million dollar warehouse is the best I could come up with. Oh and New York City has a population of 8 million the cities on Minneapolis and St. Paul a combined 750,000. So to think what happened in New York would happen here is silly.
Any comment on the OP, or just sticking with the yeahbuts?

Through the lens of democrats:

Trump talking about ruling like a dictator - bad.

Democrats actually ruling like dictators - good.
