Donny Boy ain't winning in a recession. He's also showing how poorly he leads the country with this virus.
Really? Here I thought the virus has almost nothing to do with him at all, but was a mere force of nature attacking humans as nature does from time to time. Shows how dumb I must be.

For cripes sakes, all he had to do was not vindictively fire Obama's pandemic task force and stand aside while they and the CDC did their jobs, and it would be a way better response than this.

Let me save you a lot of time, effort and stress. Nothing the current President will ever, ever, ever say or do will you ever approve of. Not ever.

I'll get back to you when the final body counts are in and we will see who the dumb one actually was.
I'll get back to you when the recession is officially declared. That should give you enough time to kiss Trump goodbye.

This tread has proven what I've known for more than 70 years--never try to have a sane discussion with a liberal. All you'll get is invective an anger and name calling. (By the way, I neither voted for Trump nor Reagan
By the way, I'm not a liberal. LMAO!

Go create another sock puppet account.

Is he the guy who posts the links to his RWNJ websites directly in the subject line for our convenience or am I mixing up The Fellas?

Virtually all Presidents take credit when the economy is good. And they suffer when the economy drops - whether it is their fault or not. That's the story when you're the top dog. The buck stops with you.

Jimmy Carter is considered to be an intelligent person and a humanitarian. But he presided during a gas crisis and a hostage crisis, and was judged to be a weak leader.

Up to now, no matter what else, Trump could point to the economy. If he loses that, does he have something else in his bag?

Don't forget - the hard-core supporters are not going to budge. But if Trump loses just a little support in a few key states, that tips the balance in the Electoral College.

It is still going to be a close election. But - the lower the markets drop and the longer that Corona is disrupting day-to-day life, the trickier the electoral math becomes for Trump.

Agreed. Between the botched response to the crisis and the near-certain recession, Trump is toast, and he knows it. It's not outlandish to wonder whether someone as impulsive as him would do something drastic. Leveraging a crisis to justify suspending the democratic process is right out of the dictators playbook.
This is a horrible take, and Trump isn’t a dictator. Nothing you just said will happen. How does a virus outbreak mean Trump is toast? Are voters truly that stupid to think he could have somehow saved the world from a viral outbreak? Or that he could have protected our economy from the effects of the virus? This entire thread is pathetic

Puti is in the process of extending himself as Supreme Russian Leader through 2036. Remember that he not only advises, but actually directs IMPOTUS. Yes, this could definitely be plotted.
Man the Russian collusion conspiracy theory will never die. This is rich

That’s all you Dems care about is seeing Trump gone. By any means necessary. You’re happy if we hit a recession and tons of people die from a stupid virus, if it means Trump gets voted out. It’s too bad you guys can’t at least hope our president doesn’t fail. As much as I didn’t care for Obama, I didn’t want him to make mistakes, and I didn’t hope for our economy to go to crap just so someone else can take his place. Spiteful, hateful ways of thinking

You seem to care an awful lot about that.

Besides, why should I? Shouldn't someone have to be worth a shit to get approval? Or is this some kind of new grade inflation?

Oh spare me you sanctimonious prick. None of us “Dems” want a recession or “tons” of people to die. Go to hell.

I don't envy you, having to tell your grandchildren that you were in favor of aborting many of their generation and selling the nation down the river to globalism and socialism because people made bad lifestyle decisions, took out huge college loans and got indoctrinated by a bunch of leftist profs that live in a theoretical world.

I'll be proud to have voted for a guy who, despite his many personal flaws, kept his promise of reinstilling the American dream and in the process Made America Great Again!
Baby Killer! Love it.
