Or how about "Graduate High School".Obviously nobody agrees with racism, but this program and the U of M's athletic program has been plagued with sexual assaults, domestics violence, and violence upon fellow students. Kind of strange to get preachy......
Two out of every three stories on College Gameday are about a player that was raised by his mother and grandma. Imagine the power of a message on the back of a jersey that said "Take Care of Your Children." It would be powerful and influential and could initiate real change, but that is the conversation that is not allowed to happen. Oh well, just a small interjection of truth in a world that hates it.
+1.Incredible how a simple message offends so many people. Never fails to amaze me.
That would be brilliant, but would never happen as it doesn't fit the narrative.Imagine the power of a message on the back of a jersey that said "Take Care of Your Children." ok. end racism. Pretty obvious. Does not fricking need to be on the back of jerseys. End Stupidity.
I think it's more about awareness and the fact that many people who are more apathetic about the issue can be urged to speak out when they hear or see it.That would be brilliant, but would never happen as it doesn't fit the narrative.
Racism is awful and needs to be eradicated.
Putting "end racism" on the back of our football jerseys is pointless and will do nothing to address the actual problem.
But putting "Take Care of Your Children" on the back of the jersey does? I'm not arguing that family dynamics and structure are a major issue in many of our low income and minority neighborhoods, but what does that saying on a back of a football jersey do? Man just let the players and program put out a positive message not something condescending to the way they were raised. If they didn't have a father/mother figure they are already mad enough most likelyThat would be brilliant, but would never happen as it doesn't fit the narrative.

I love the color scheme of them as well. Like it or not, this stuff will also help with recruiting.1) first and foremost, the message is most important and is so true
2) those uniforms are![]()
You go from narrative to another. Sounds like it offends you as to who you are.ok. end racism. Pretty obvious. Does not fricking need to be on the back of jerseys. End Stupidity.
You should be behind bars!To be clear, I think putting anything other than the players names on the back of the jerseys is pretty silly.
If your a dad do your job! Amen!"End 80% Fatherless Households" & "Stop Committing Vastly Disproportionate amounts of Violent Crimes" doesn't have quite the same ring to it!
Something we should all be able to get behind!!! lolI really dislike Brohm.
hahaha -- that's the first good chuckle I have had today! It would have be appropriate to have worn this uniform when we played Iowa
Seems like an outsized reaction. You should be behind bars!
Is this antithetical to wanting to End Racism?"End 80% Fatherless Households" & "Stop Committing Vastly Disproportionate amounts of Violent Crimes" doesn't have quite the same ring to it!
